The 411 on Ski Shuttles in Canmore

You have come to enjoy the world class skiing found in the Canadian Rockies but you don’t want to worry about navigating to the ski hill, finding parking and lugging all your gear across the parking lot.
Not to mention, warming up your vehicle before you head home after a long and tiring day on the slopes. 

How about a Ski Shuttle? Wouldn’t it be great to let someone else worry about the driving? We can help you find relaxing, eco-friendly transportation to and from the hill!

Heading to either Sunshine Village or Lake Louise? There is a bus departing from the Coast Canmore Hotel at 8:25 am. Upon request, stops can be made along the Bow Valley Trail and Harvie Heights. Be sure to discuss with them in advance.

For the bus and a lift ticket, Adult price is $115, Youth (13-17) $90, children (6-12) $55.

If you want the bus only, return included to Sunshine Village is $20 with the bus leaving Sunshine at 4:30 pm.

Bus only to Lake Louise is $25, including return trip, with the bus leaving Lake Louise at 4:00 pm.

Please be advised that these buses are CASH ONLY and you will want to make reservations (click here for Sunshine Village and here for Lake Louise). Reservations can be made up to 2 days in advance.

Another option would be to purchase a Big3 lift ticket. This pass has you skiing at Sunshine Village, Lake Louise and Mt Norquay. It includes free shuttles from Banff as well as many perks at local retailers. Please print the perks sheet to receive your discounts. 

To get to Banff, you have a couple of options. There is ROAM Transit. Between 6:00-9:00 am and 3:00-7:00 pm, this bus runs every 30 mins. The rest of the time, it runs every 60 mins. It will take you about 24 minutes to get from Canmore to Banff. You can download the Big 3 shuttle schedule here.

Seem like too many connections?
You can of course, drive to one of the bus stops in Banff and then park and ride to the hill.

If that doesn’t appeal to you, you can always download a ride share app such as Driving Anyway and share a ride with some fellow ski/snowboard enthusiasts!

By taking a Ski Shuttle, or by sharing a ride, you have the opportunity to sit back, relax, and marvel at the mountains you are about to experience!
